What does a custom suit cost?
Two‑piece commissions begin at $699 with entry‑level cloth, $999 at mid level, and $1,399 with our top‑of‑the‑line books from Dormeuil, Scabal, and Harris Tweed. Cloth selection, design details, and additional pieces (a vest, a second pair of trousers) set the final price — you'll know your number before anything is cut.
How long does a custom suit take?
It depends on the cloth. Choose from our in‑stock fabrics and your suit is measured, made, and in hand in about 4 weeks. Choose a cut length ordered from the mill — including the full Dormeuil, Scabal, and Harris Tweed books — and plan on 6–10 weeks to final fit. If you have a wedding or event date, tell Stefan first and he'll steer you to cloth that arrives on time.
What happens at a fitting?
A relaxed, one‑on‑one appointment of about 60–90 minutes: a consultation on your style and the occasion, measurements, fabric selection from the swatch books, and design details — lapel, buttons, lining, fit. Then your suit is tailored to your exact measurements. Book by calling or texting Stefan Ryder at 337‑290‑6419.
Do you outfit wedding parties?
Yes — wedding parties are welcome, and they're some of our favorite work. Bring the date and the party; we'll handle the rest, from cloth choice through final fit.
What fabrics do you carry?
Swatch books at every level, from quality entry‑level fabrics to our top of the line: Dormeuil of Paris, Scabal woven in England, and handwoven Harris Tweed from Scotland's Outer Hebrides. The books are in the shop — you choose with the cloth in your hands.
How does Bible rebinding work?
Bring your Bible to the shop in Brewer (or reach out first). We walk through the binding options with you, then place it in the hands of our rebinding partner, Salvador Moreno Co. of San Ramon, California — craftsmen known for handmade rebinding in premium and exotic leathers. It comes home rebound and heirloom‑ready: same pages, same notes in the margins.
What does rebinding cost?
Quotes depend on the Bible's size, its condition, and the binding you choose — from classic calfskin to exotic leathers, with options like a personalized name, new ribbons, and decorative edges. Are your shoes really handmade?
Yes — our shoe wall is Mezlan, handmade in Spain, in genuine crocodile, ostrich, deerskin, and Italian calfskin. Buy from the wall, order online, or special‑order any available Mezlan colorway and size through the shop.
Where are you, and when are you open?
